Keto Chocolate Protein Balls - Recipe Below
We love protein balls and we love them even more when there are secret keto treats inside them. It allows our creativity to run wild and to have variation in our life.
Ingredients (* = available here at Keto Store NZ)
100g sugar-free Condensed coconut Milk* or make your own here
1/4 C Allulose* chosen for it's non-crystalising advantage
1/2 teaspoon Cocoa Powder*
1 sachet Vanilla Inulin*
1.5 teaspoon Cocoa Powder*
130g almond flour*
25g Whey Protein Isolate powder*
50g soft Butter (10 seconds in the microwave softens it from the fridge temperature)

1 - Put condensed milk, sweetener, cocoa and vanilla inulin into a large microwaveable jug, give it a stir and heat slowly in 30 second intervals, stirring until melted and combined.
2 - Add cocoa powder, almond flour, protein powder and butter.
3 - Put the mixture into the fridge for a few minutes to firm up a little.
4 - With slightly wet hands, roll into balls ensuring your special treat (eg: chopped up marshmallow) is in the centre of the ball.
5 - Roll in desiccated coconut or more cocoa powder. They can be dipped in chocolate and we highly recommend the Keto Belgian Milk or Dark Chocolate Buttons for this.
6 - Store in an airtight container and hide that in the fridge vegetable crisper because no-one will think to look in there :) mine, all mine! or if your plans for these are longer term, freeze them.
