Organic Psyllium Husk - 250g
Psyllium husks promote easy, healthy elimination and sweep waste out of the colon more easily by supplying soluble fibre. Also available in the 1kg size.
Supply update: with rains and hail affecting this season's harvest it has created a global shortage in psyllium. We'd recommend stocking up at this price, as it's likely to increase even further over the next few months.
What does psyllium husk do in baking? Psyllium husk is used to retain moisture and help breads from becoming too crumbly. It acts as a binder, and it gives gluten free bread dough the elasticity, flexibility and extensibility it needs so you can actually knead and shape it without any problems. Use to crumb veges, chicken or beef schnitzel.
