Keto Garlic Knots   

If you love garlic bread, you will adore these. Gluten free and now only 0.5g carbs per knot based on 11 knots. 

DOUGH INGREDIENTS (* = available here at Keto Store NZ):
1 + 1/3rd Cup {320ml of water at 43 degrees C}
It might pay to use a digital thermometer* here, because if too hot, you will kill off the yeast. 
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 teaspoons + 1/4 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast*
2 Tablespoons of oil
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder*
287g or (3 Cups + 1/2 Cup) Keto Flour (GF is best)* 
2 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder* 

GLAZE INGREDIENTS (* = available here at Keto Store NZ):
5 Tablespoons - 71g of Butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon of Garlic Powder*
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning*
1/4 teaspoon Salt*
1/4 Cup Cheese Powder* 

METHOD
YEAST ACTIVATION
1 - Into a stand mixer bowl add 320ml warm water
2 - Dissolve 1 teaspoon of sugar into the water.
3 - Test the water using a digital thermometer
4 - When it is 43 degrees C add in the 2 teaspoons + 1/4 teaspoon of yeast and mix
5 - Cover and let it sit for 10 minutes for the yeast to activate 
MAKE THE DOUGH 
6 - Add these ingredients into the stand mixer bowl:  
      2 Tablespoons of oil
      1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and 
      3 Cups + 1/2 Cup Keto Flour
7 - Turn the stand mixer on for 5 minutes to create a dough
8 - Spray hands with oil to make it easier to handle the dough 
9 - Measure out equal amounts of the dough so the knots are even 
PREPARE THE KNOTS 
10 - roll the dough into cylinder shapes long enough to be tied in a knot 
11 - place each knot onto a lined baking tray with 5cm apart
12 - place into a warm spot for 30 minutes and allow to rise. 
13 - Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celcius and bake for 12 minutes 
PREPARE THE GLAZE 
14 - While they are baking, start to make the glaze by melting 5 Tablespoons (71g) of Butter
15 - Add 1/2 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon Salt and then 1/4 Cup Cheese Powder
16 - Once the knots have cooled down, then lather the glaze all over the knots

TIPS
Do Not add Boiling WATER into the oven for rising the dough as this flour does NOT like Humidity!
