Fried Zucchini Fries Recipe

Looking for a healthier french fry alternative? Or a clever scheme to get the kids to eat their veggies? Swap out the traditional taters for zucchini and dress it up with our Breading Mix. And if you want a bit of zing to it, pop in some Cajun seasoning. 

Ingredients (* = available here at Keto Store NZ):
1/2 Cup of Keto Store Breading Mix*
1/8th - 1/4 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning* (amount depends on personal taste) 
1 egg, lightly beaten 
1 Large zucchini 

Method: 
1 - Slice Zucchini into 1cm x 1cm pieces, removing any seeds.
2 - Dip the Zucchini into the egg wash, then roll in the Breading Mix
3 - Cook in an air fryer 190°C for 12 mins / shallow pan fry in oil until tender inside
Hints:
• Time / temperature may vary. 
• Use the lower amount of Cajun, cook one piece and taste test to decide to add more heat kick to the breading mixture for the remaining pieces. 
4 - Serve with sauces (options in the drop down menu)

• Per 1/4 tsp Cajun Seasoning all macros are Zero except Sodium 290mg
