2 - Position your body part into the loop and press the button to tighten the tape measure. 
3 - Remove the pin end from the slot to reveal the measurement on the inside of the tape measure for centimetres, outside for inches.
4 - Make a record and repeat measuring elsewhere on your body.
For storage, press the button to fully retract the tape measure.
