Devilled Sausages - Recipe in text below
Satisfying comfort food at its best for dinner without the carbs and great for leftover lunch. Using Zucchini as a replacement for apples, this recipe doesn't disappoint! Goes really well with cauli rice/mash to serve.
Macros will depend on what sausages you use, so the macros here are without sausages. Net Carbs 6g, Fibre 1g, Protein 4g, Fat 1g, Energy 47 calories.

Ingredients for 6 servings (* = available here at Keto Store NZ)
1/2 sliced medium onion
1 sliced Zucchini
2 cups Beef Broth* made adding 16g broth powder to 2 Cups of boiled water
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder*
1 teaspoon Onion Powder*
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
4 Tablespoons Brown Sweetener*
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Powder
1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
Salt & Pepper to taste.
(recommend serving with Cauli Rice or Mash)
1 - Cook sausages of choice and place aside
2 - In a frying pan cook sliced onion and sliced zucchini until starting to brown
3 - Add remaining ingredients into the pan and simmer for 15 minutes
4 - Add cooked sausages back into the sauce and simmer for a further 10 mins until the sauce has thickened.
5 - Serve with Cauli Rice or Mashed Cauliflower or sides of your choice.
