Musashi [High Protein] Milk Choc Peanut Butter Bar
High Protein 90g Bar
Peanut Butter + Milk Chocolate
3g carbs - NEW formulation
In a generous 90g serve these bars are loaded with 46g of high quality protein in an unique combination of sources. Say goodbye to grainy / gritty protein bars and enjoy the smooth choc and peanut caramel combo that's highly evolved in both taste and texture. The combo milk chocolate + peanuts reminds me of a eating peanut slabs.
Not only does each 90g bar gives you a whopping 46g of protein they're only 3g carbs, so you're truly onto a winner here. There is NO maltitol in the NEW version of the bars, so rest assured, because we do not sell any products that contain Maltitol.
Really Super Duper Important note: Please be wary as the OLD version of the bars that contain MALTITOL are still for sale elsewhere in NZ and at heavily reduced prices to clear stocks. Eating the old formulation bars carbs are 2.6g + 6.6g of maltitol = 9g of carbs.
Q: How do I identify the old formulation bars that contain Maltitol?
A: You can identify places that are selling the OLD version of the bars because
• they have Maltitol half way down their ingredients listings online
• the silver stripe packaging with the word RECOVER on it
• they are advertised as containing 2.6g carbs on the front of the pack
• be careful, as we've seen the new front image being advertised, and the old nutritional panel but the product that arrives is the old 9g carbs bar which contains maltitol.
Q: What's the big deal with Maltitol?
A: Maltitol grams count as carbs because unlike other sugar alcohols, your body absorbs them just like carbs. No-one wants to eat nearly half a day's worth of carbs in one 90g bar.
