Cloud Bread Enhancers
Cloud Bread started out in the 1970’s Atkins era as a bread with next to no carbs and is now trending on Tik Tok :) The basic recipe involves egg whites, cream cheese, and egg yolks. While many love the original recipe, for those who don't like things on the eggy side, these enhancers will change the texture of the Cloud Bread to meet your preferences.
Here are the following ingredients, amounts and how they will drastically improve your cloud bread experience.
- Xanthan Gum – adding 1 tsp gives texture and removes any eggy-ness taste
- Psyllium Husk Powder – adding 1 TBS gives texture to the cloud bread
- Acacia Fibre – adding 1 TBS gives texture and removes any eggy-ness taste
- Cream of Tartar – adding 1 tsp makes it much easier to stabilise the egg whites.
