Ingredients: Coconut 100% with no additional sweeteners or oils added - just pure, tasty and crunchy coconut. Here's even more nutritional lowdown from Bruce Fife's book called The Coconut Oil Miracle:

Coconut is rich in medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) which cannot be stored in the body. Instead they get broken down and are used for energy production. The MCFAs found in coconut oil are lauric acid, caprylic acid and capric acid.

  • Lauric acid (LA) has the greatest antiviral activity. Nearly 50% of the fat found in coconut is composed of LA.
  • Caprylic acid is a potent yeast fighting substance. It is very effective in eradicating candida (reducing sugar cravings) and other fungi.
  • Capric acid has strong antimicrobial properties which can only be obtained by ingesting.

Gluten-free: Coconut flakes are by their very nature are gluten free, however we don't specifically test ours to be able to say that they are. While they are processed at the same site as gluten products, we do completely segregate products and equipment, schedule handling, and clean and sanitise in between different products. We do everything humanly possible to minimise the risk of any cross contamination.

Keto Recipes using these: simply add them into baking, cereals or munch them by the handful as a snack. Paired up with Almond Flakes and you're on your way to snacking heaven.
